How many people usually join?
Each walk varies. The more local and free walks usually have between 20–30 people. Our unique experience hikes tend to have around 10–12 people, while our longer guided walks usually have between 15–20 people.
Are the walks free?
Our local community walks are completely free to join. Some of our longer guided walks have a small contribution, which helps cover the guided experience, interactive games and quizzes throughout the day, and a prize for the quiz winner. Our unique experience hikes are priced individually depending on the activity.
I'm nervous about coming on my own.
You're definitely not the only one. Most people join their first walk without knowing anyone, and many tell us they were nervous beforehand. The great thing is that everyone is welcoming, and you'll quickly find yourself chatting with people who share the same love for the outdoors. By the end of the walk, everyone leaves feeling like they're a part of the community.
